Boot-able Media
In this tutorial we will prepare a boot-able media to install rlxos (USB)

is a great utility that helps format and create boot-able USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pen drives, memory sticks.Requirements

  • Latest ISO release
  • USB ( 4GiB or above)

Windows Users

Rufus

Steps

  • Connect your USB to your PC
  • Open Rufus with admin permission
  • In the device properties section,
    • Select your USB from Device Combo Box
    • Select rlxos ISO from Boot Section
    • Partition Scheme [check partition scheme]
  • Click the start button
  • If it ask for DD or ISO mode, go for DD

Linux Users

$ fdisk -l # to check the device node of your USB

$ dd if=/path/to/rlxos.iso of=/dev/sd? status=progress bs=1M
3
$ # That's it
